Pierre Buraglio was born in Charenton in 1939. He is a painter, designer and lithographer. He lives and works in Maisons-Alfort, Val-de-Marne. In 1959, Pierre Buraglio entered the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1961, he participated for the first time in the Salon de la Jeune Peinture. From 1963 to 1965, he spent time in New York. Those same years, he attended Roger Chastel's studio at the ENSBA. During the events of May 1968, Pierre Buraglio was permanent at the popular workshop of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. From 1974, Pierre Buraglio implemented “Chassis” and “Cadres”. His first solo exhibition takes place at ARC 2 , curated by Catherine Thieck from the Galerie de France .
