Stanislas Lepri (1905-1980) was an Italian surrealist painter. He moved to Paris in 1950 where he became involved with the artist Leonor Fini. Lepri designed sets and costumes for Roland Petit's Les Ballets de Paris. Their work was featured in several exhibitions at key galleries and museums, including the Galerie Les Yeux Fertiles and the Galerie Claude Lemand. During his lifetime he developed an extended curriculum vitae and an incredible list of expositions and musea where his art works can be found, from his hometown Charleroi to Paris to South Africa. Marcel Delmotte lived during the same era as René Magritte and Paul Delvaux.
