Alberto Magnelli (1888 –1971) Italian modern painter who was a significant figure in the post war Concrete Art Movement. He joined the Florentine Avant-garde when he visited Paris and met Pablo Picasso & Fernand Leger. Magnelli adopted abstraction in the form of concrete art featuring geometric shapes. Later he joined the Abstraction-Création group and became friends with Wassily Kandinsky & Jean Arp. He remains the rest of his life in Paris. His works are displayed in many of worldwide Museums.
