Georges Rohner (  1913-2000) was a painter and printmaker of international repute. Born in Paris, he was known stylistically as a realist, but his creative endeavors often edged toward surrealism. He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Paris under the French painter and teacher Lucien Simon (1861-1945).
