Joaquín Ferrer (1928-2022) was a Cuban artist, painter, and designer. Born in Manzanilla, he studied at Havana’s School of Fine Arts. Ferrer is associated with the lyrical abstraction movement. In 1958, he restored and installed a Roman mosaic at the Museo Nacional in Havana and founded an engraving school.
